Bangor police had some solid advice to Pokemon GO players around town.

Later, they posted this helpful graphic about the dangers of driving, and, um, Pokemon-ing.

Pokemon GO has been around less than a week and is already so popular it’s poised to, or already has, surpassed Twitter in the number of registered users (that’s huge).

Vox has a detailed explanation of what this game actually is that might be helpful if you don’t know what Pokemon is.

And Emily Burnham last week explained what it’s like to play the game in Bangor, and included about a dozen screenshots like the one above of the game characters all over town, even in the BDN offices.

Like the PD says, don’t play and drive, and be on the lookout for pedestrians staring at phone screens.
