Watch Anna Kendrick reenact Hollywood’s greatest sports movies in under 7 minutes

In case you missed it, a little while after the Super Bowl on Sunday, CBS ran an episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” the rising late-night comedy star whose “carpool karaoke” video with hit singer Adele smashed records with 67.5 million YouTube views.

Corden capitalized on the enthusiasm for sports that might naturally carry over from the big game, calling a few actor friends to help him reenact scenes from a slate of Hollywood’s most famous sports movies in one fast-paced seven-minute segment.

One such actor friend was the indefatigable Daughter Of Maine Anna Kendrick, platinum-selling singer, Academy Award nominee and Deering High School grad.

Watch that video above, if you haven’t seen it yet. There are glimpses of “Rocky,” “Hoosiers,” “Field of Dreams” and “Remember the Titans,” among many others.

Our only complaint? The whole group finishes the video in Denver Broncos jerseys, presumably to congratulate the Super Bowl champions. It’s tough to see a native New Englander in Broncos duds, we can’t lie.

I wonder what it would’ve taken to get Matt Damon or Chris Evans in a Denver jersey.
