The real estate blog Movoto produced an original video illustrating “10 signs you’ve lived in Maine too long,” which you can watch above.
Among those signs are that you’d never pay more than $10 for lobster, which I assume refers to lobster that’s been prepared for you at a restaurant or something, because $10 is way too much to be paying for a live one.
Others feature the obligatory references to L.L. Bean boots, Moxie soda and blueberry pie — typical “Maine top 10 list” fare. And although the commenters who posted about the video on YouTube seem to go back and forth about whether “ayuh” is really something Mainers actually say, most seem to agree the list is otherwise generally accurate.
