The Weather Channel surveyed its viewers across the country to get a gauge of how cold it has to be in each state for residents to consider it “sweater weather,” and perhaps unsurprisingly, Mainers are among the most resistant to the cold.

While people in Arizona and Nevada told The Weather Channel they’ll start wearing the heavier knit clothing once the temperature drops down to 65 degrees, Mainers are still in light T-shirts until it gets down to 55 degrees.

Only South Dakota residents have thicker skin, waiting until it reaches 51 degrees before they start bundling up.

Here in Maine, daytime temperatures are still hovering between the upper 50s and lower- to mid-60s, so it’s not quite sweater season here yet. On the flip side, a previous Weather Channel survey found that Mainers considered 88 degrees their threshold for what’s “too hot.”

The cable channel received survey responses from nearly 6,600 viewers nationwide. Across the country, the average “sweater weather” temperature was 60 degrees, with men being slightly more comfortable in chilly temps (58 degrees) than women (60 degrees).

Two percent of all respondents said they didn’t consider it “sweater weather” until it got as cold as 40 degrees.

Here’s the full list of the temperatures at which people in each state say they start putting on the sweaters:
