For those who are looking to procure — and distribute — one-of-a-kind items, Etsy’s surely a website to go to. With great power, however, comes … well, you know.

So what happens when you conduct a stereotype-inspired search? Say, for example, redneck-themed items?

Some amusing home decor. That’s what happens.

But who would be interested in looking up “redneck-y” items? Perhaps those who recently attended what has become one of the most popular annual festivals in the state of Maine.

Known as the Redneck Blank pig roast and music festival, held at the beginning of August every summer, thousands of Mainers and out-of-staters flock to 210 acres of Hebron farmland to bob for pigs feet, toss toilet seat horseshoes and listen to local Maine music.

The annual festival has even garnered national attention: from the United States Olympic Committee —  when the event was still named the Redneck Olympics — to the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
