Reports: History Channel cancels ‘Down East Dickering’

Down East Dickering,” a reality TV show featuring a group of Maine fellows looking for deals using Uncle Henry’s Swap and Sell It Guide, has been canceled by the History Channel, according to the Sun Journal and reports on social media.
Kevin Webb, general manager of Uncle Henry’s Swap or Sell It Guide, told the Sun Journal on Tuesday that conversations about not shooting a third season began last week.

Webb told the Sun Journal he’d heard different reasons for the show’s cancellation, including that the History Channel wanted to capture a specific audience and didn’t reach enough of that demographic.
Some disappointed fans took to Facebook to voice their disapproval: A Bring Back Down East Dickering page had more than 4,800 “likes” on Tuesday evening.
