Arcade Fire accept #IceBucketChallenge at Bangor show

The Ice Bucket Challenge craze to promote ALS awareness has shown no signs of slowing, and Arcade Fire multi-instrumentalist Richard Reed Parry is one of the latest participants. Parry was challenged by Primus bassist Les Claypool, whose band also recently played in Maine, at the State Theatre in Portland on June 25.

Parry enthusiastically accepted, and at the conclusion of Arcade Fire’s Bangor show Wednesday night, he hopped off the stage (can’t be dousing the equipment with ice water!) and took a drenching courtesy of bandmate Will Butler.
